Who I am?

I’m Priya and I’m passionate about using design to solve problems.

I’m a university graduate, with a master’s degree in computer applications. These majors allowed me to dabble in web designing and developing. After graduating, I worked as a .Net Developer for 2 years in India.

Actually my husband's work, made me to move here. Australia is fantastic place to live. I literally moved to several places like Tasmania, Sydney and finally here in Brisbane now.

To enjoy my motherhood, I took a short break in between my employment as a Graphic designer and I worked in digital communications and marketing for non-profits and other industrial sectors. These experiences have allowed me to lead and collaborate with clients to tell their stories, promote campaigns and strategize innovative ways to solve problems. Through working in digital communications for diverse industries, I realized my passion for UX.

So, I completed my full intensive UX design course at Academy Xi in 2021 and immersed myself in learning tools such as, Figma and Adobe XD. Currently, I am working with Contal Group and also freelancing on week-ends.

• I'm enjoying the journey into UX and look forward to landing in a role in MNC.
